Virden Agricultural Society Grounds

In close proximity to Tundra Oil & Gas Place in Virden is a large agriculture facility that is shared by the Virden Agriculture Society and the Virden Indoor Rodeo. The area is maintained throughout the summer season and includes many barns, wash racks, outdoor arenas, showers and a building that offers a canteen, bathroom and office space.

A 24-site campground with 30-amp power is available. Both attendees of events taking place on the grounds and members of the public wanting to explore the area are welcome to stay at the campground. The location also offers great access to Tundra Oil & Gas Place and the surrounding recreational facilities. The reserve a spot in the campground, text 204-851-1737.

The Virden Agricultural Society Grounds has been home to events for over 140 years with an average of 12,000 spectators annually over the last 10 years. To continue attracting new and existing events, the Virden Agricultural Society identified that a complete teardown of their old barn structure and re-build of a new community barn was important for the venue's future success. A $100,000 Co-op Community Spaces Grant made the project possible.
